About the Artist:
The pottery manufacturer Roullet-Renoleau is one of the recent French earthenware factories to work exclusively with red earthenware (i.e., clay). The factory’s products stand out for their craftsmanship, richness and variety of forms and settings. Christophe Roullet Renoleau (fifth-generation ceramist) and Sandrine Ricolleau and Pierrette Joubert (decorators) are the primary individuals involved with the manufacture of Roullet-Renoleau pottery goods in Charente, France.
This pottery offers a very rich and varied collection of objects and dishes, with many designs. While retaining models and traditional decorations that have augmented the factory’s reputation, the company also continues to create innovative pottery pieces that amaze buyers and collectors of red earthenware goods.
