Published in the early 1960s by the Arrco Playing Card Company of Chicago, Illinois, Match Patch presents “an original card game for boys and girls” that both entertains and teaches them. The game contains its original 40 colorfully illustrated cards, one rules card and a promotional card for other games.
The game cards are in fair vintage condition. Many of the game cards are bent or creased. The game box, though original, is in poor condition, with many of its corners and edges frayed and falling apart.
Because of the condition of some of the cards, Dogbotz Boneyard recommends that Match Patch not be used for play, but instead be used for collector’s purposes only. For those who collect mid-century children’s games and toys, this card game would make for a great addition.
