This antique primitive salt glaze jar dates back to the 1900s. With a solid beige textured gloss finish, this piece has a curved form versus the more common straight cyclindrical form. The jar has a substantial lip and holds about a gallon. See product photos to note a chip in the lip area.
This vessel makes for a nice contrast to the typical salt-glazed crock. This jar would be a great addition to other standard stoneware pieces
