Produced in 1962 by the Milton Bradley Company, the Square Mile Land Development Board Game allows players to be modern-age pioneers who take a square mile of raw land and develop it into a thriving community. This board game with its two-stages of play (planning and development) makes for a great teaching tool for teenagers seeking to understand what goes into city planning and design as well as architecture.
This sharp-looking game in terms of graphics and land management playing pieces is in good vintage condition. All the playing components from cards to cash, from game board to pyramid-shaped player pawns are in excellent condition, and all pieces are present. It is only the box top that has been battered throughout the game’s 50-plus-year history. The cover has three split edges and one spilt side panel. Please review all accompanying photographs for condition issues.
For those of you who collect vintage games, the Square Mile Land Development Board Game is a wonderful find to add to your collection.
