About the Artist:
All Pierre Bex jewelry was made in France from 1969 until the end of the 1980s. Each piece is handmade in France from original stampings. The jewelry was then silver-plated with an antique finish, nickel-free warranty, and then enameled and often set with crystal rhinestones.
The factory is now closed, but the very high quality of its production, which involved the use of the original tooling associated with the use of the finest materials, gives Pierre Bex items a great value.
Just for you is a lovely vintage 1970s Art Deco-style Pierre Bex enamel brooch. In the central triangle of the brooch, the enamel is colored cadet blue in a floral design surrounded by black enamel. A cadet blue triangle appears on each side of the central panel. Around the main triangle and edges of the brooch is silver-plated stampings.
The brooch is in excellent vintage condition, and its roll-lock clasp works wonderfully.
This stunning Art Deco brooch is great for formal evening wear, as it makes a subtly eye-catching statement. It would also make for a delightful gift for a family member, friend, or colleague, and it would be an excellent addition to any woman’s costume jewelry collection.
