The designer of this 1980s pewter belt buckle for Plumbers’ Union Local 383 of Kankakee, Illinois has rendered a crescent wrench logo along with the union’s name. The crisscrossing wrenches have great detail and are set in high relief on a grey surface. On the backside of the buckle appears the manufacturer’s mark.
This union belt buckle is in very good vintage condition, with visible signs of light wear, yet well preserved for its age. The buckle will accommodate a belt no wider than 1.75 inches.
This pipefitter's belt buckle would make a great gift for the collector of men’s buckles or a fun addition to complete your own collection. Better yet—if you know a plumber, this would be a great gift.
