This vintage, 1940s, cast-iron toy is a miniature of a World War II Bell Airacuda bomber/destroyer. The toy aircraft has a nine-inch wingspan from tip to tip. The toy is in a very good vintage condition, with just some slight paint wear. The body of the plane is gray, but its front wings and the underbelly are painted red. Also, where the five-pointed stars appear at each wingtip, the circles around the stars are painted blue. The twin engine propellers of the plane move smoothly as do the wheels on the underside of the plane. No maker’s mark appears on the toy.
The wonderful vintage WWII Bell Airacuda plane would make a nice addition to any toy or metal work collection. So, buy this amazing toy and “fly” it home!
