These mid-1930s candleholders handmade by Craftsmen, Inc. are a superb example of hammered copper in the Art & Crafts style of the period. Each candleholder has its wrapped four sides hammered delicately into its base. The four triangles created then curl upward to attach to the central cup that holds a candle.
These eye-catching copper candleholders are in excellent vintage condition. Each candleholder has a wonderful patina from years of aging, and they have minimal wear, scratches and other marks. Each candleholder is stamped on its bottom with the hallmark “Craftsmen Inc.” and the company’s hammer and anvil logo bearing the words “Hand Made.” Finally, the product number 763 is also stamped into each base. (Please view accompanying photographs for condition issues.)
