From the late 1950s comes this delightful brooch of an elegant flapper girl whose headdress is composed on pink and clear rhinestones. The face of the flapper is plastic on which the mouth and one eye have been painted to form the face; a larger pink rhinestone constitutes the other eye. The whole piece has a very Art Deco feel to it.
The brooch is in good condition, though it looks as if the clasp mechanism may have been re-attached to the brooch. The headdress rhinestones are very sparkly; no stones have lost their sparkle or color.
This brooch is so eye-catching and wonderfully stylistic that it would serve as a marvelous addition to any jewelry box. Consider also purchasing this one as a great “first piece” for any young woman beginning her collection of vintage jewelry.
