About the Artist:
Ken Oberholtzer, a full-time folk artist, is currently living on the mid-coast of Maine with his family. He began his career in art many years ago as a custom decorator in the greater New York City metropolitan area. The skills acquired from working with faux-finishing and restorations assisted him in reinventing himself. He is self-taught and has a strong interest in working with mixed media, primarily sculpting and painting. He gains much of his inspiration for his work from living and playing close to nature. Thousands of his works have been sold and are in private collections throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Australia.
Dogbotz Boneyard values the artwork of Ken Oberholtzer not solely because of his technique and vivid use of color alone but also because of the subtle, playful humor found in each of his works. His simple masterpieces are worth the investment. And so, from our Dogbotz Boneyard art gallery for your own personal collection, we present Ken Oberholtzer’s Chicken Coop.
Note: As part of the Art and Artifacts Sale, the purchase of Chicken Coop by Ken Oberholtzer comes with a free $50 Dogbotz Boneyard gift certificate, which can be redeemed during a future purchase at our online store. The expiration date of the gift certificate is one year after purchase of this item.
