About the Artist:
Nandita Albright was born and raised in India, inside the sector of Bihar. She grew up without any way to express herself creatively. “Luckily,” she tells us, “I found my loving and supporting husband and was able to move to America with him. Ever since then, I have taken the opportunity to paint like my father and mother used to do for a hobby. I am just an artist, following her dream. I have been painting most of my life. From oil painting as a medium and canvas as a surface, I then ventured to watercolors; I now use anything I can get my hands on.”
Nandita feels that she is truly the happiest when she has a paintbrush in her hand and a blank canvas to wrap her ideas around. “When I paint,” Nandita says, “I journey through my mind in my art; every piece has a meaning and a story. Whether it be the soft, smooth curves in my modern art or the firm yet jagged appeal in my textured art.”
This exhibit is Nandita Albright’s first exposure in our Dogbotz Boneyard Gallery of Art.
Dogbotz Boneyard has collected the artwork of Nandita Albright because of the powerful passion for life in all its diverse expressions that is dynamically conveyed through the explosive, sinuous, vibrating or tempered color fields that populate her canvases. As she has indicated, each painting has a story to tell, and it is only through one’s immersion into the abstract yet harmonious interlay of color with form that the tale and its lesson are witnessed. And so, from our Dogbotz Boneyard Gallery of Art for your own personal collection, we present Nandita Albright’s Night Passion.
