About the Artist:
Every now and then someone pops up who makes you wonder “Where have you been and from where did you come?” Mary Carol Williams is such an artist. She exhibits so many abilities in her works. One of the best finds of the past year.
In her own words, “Many artists give a statement about their art, so these are my thoughts. I paint because I love to. The passion just happened and sometimes I feel like Van Gogh must have felt as I need to explore and explode my thoughts onto paper, canvas, or wood.
“In my life, I have always been interested in many things and at times thought it would be better to focus. Yet now I think this is just a part of me and my mind needs to take in so much every day. Life is grand and brief but so full if every day more knowledge and enjoyment is added to your heart.”
Mary Carol Williams and her works were originally introduced to our Dogbotz Boneyard Gallery of Art buyers in the “Folk and Outsider Art” exhibit of August 2012.
Dogbotz Boneyard recommends the artwork of Mary Carol Williams because of her amazing use of color, innate sense of structure, and her childlike awe and expression of emotion. Each piece she produces exudes a natural and deeply felt joy and rhythm for life and all its everyday and often small wonders. And so, from our Dogbotz Boneyard Gallery of Art for your own personal collection, we present Mary Carol Williams’ Clara’s Colors.
