About the Artist:
Artist Li Guang is quite famous not just in his home town of Jinan in Shandong province but also throughout all of China. Li Guang was born in 1956 into an artist family: his father was also a well-known Chinese watercolorist. After years of studying ink drawing and watercolor with his father and other artist mentors, Li Guang went on to become both painter and professor, currently teaching at the university in Shandong province. He also serves as a representative of the Chinese Artists Association, through which his works have received acclaim and numerous awards in China.
A friend of Patrick Price, co-owner of Dogbotz Boneyard, has been a pen pal of Li Guang for several years and introduced the artist’s watercolors to Patrick, who is delighted to present Li Guang’s artwork here in the United States.
Product Description:
Dogbotz Boneyard has collected the artwork of Li Guang because his works offer visually breath-taking compositions of the everyday wonders found in nature, adorned only by the inherent splendor of the subjects themselves. In these simple masterpieces, the colors, shapes, and textures of the natural world inspire us to appreciate the beauty around us, subtly reminding us that it is both fragile and fleeting. And so, from our Dogbotz Boneyard Gallery of Art for your own personal collection, we present Li Guang’s Evening Balance.
