Copyrighted and manufactured in 1905 by the Milton Bradley Company (“Makers of the World’s Best Games”), this is a rare antique edition of the popular game Snap. The object of the game is to capture all the cards. The player who does that wins the game. Instructions for the game are printed on the inside of the box cover.
Note: As part of the Seasons Greetings Sale, purchase of Milton Bradley's 1905 Snap Card Game comes with a free $25 Dogbotz Boneyard gift certificate, which can be redeemed during a future purchase at our online store. The expiration date of the gift certificate is one year after purchase of this item.
For a game that is 108 years of age, Snap is in excellent antique condition. Though the box cover is a dark blue, making the red figures a bit difficult to see and the text to read, the box, both top and bottom, are in great condition, showing only the expected signs of wear yet without frayed edges, torn or split corners, and discoloration or staining. The 40 cards that constitute the game deck are aged but the graphics remain very colorful, and the cards have no edge wear, stains, folds or tears.
This hard-to-find edition of Snap would make a fun gift for any collector of vintage games. Or, buy this game for a special occasion for that family member or friend who appreciates items from America’s past.
