Well, more than 50 fifty years ago Dogbotz Boneyard co-owner Patrick Price under the tutelage of his woodshop teacher made them. Primitive as they are, this playful pair of bookends, featuring the front and backs halves of a dachshund, have been holding books in the family library since their creation. Both the wood and tin have developed a nice patina, and the bookends remain in good vintage condition. The brown felt on the bottom of each bookend, however, has retracted from the edges throughout the years.
These simple bookends would be ideal in a child’s bedroom or study area. Or, if you just like primitive, handmade items, these bookends would surely qualify.
