1980 Goose Hunter's Belt Buckle

Produced in 1980 by The Great American Buckle Company of Chicago, Illinois, this solid and heavy metal men’s belt buckle sports the image of a flying goose, as if fleeing from the hunt. The bas relief images of the goose and the background countryside are beautifully designed with great detail. The buckle will accommodate a belt width of 1.5 inches.

For being a 30-year-old buckle, this item is in excellent vintage condition. The backside of the buckle includes the logo of The Great American Buckle Company, the serial number 470, a copyright date of 1980, and the phrase “Made in USA.”

This wonderful belt buckle would make a gift for any collector of hunting or sportsman paraphernalia, or it would serve as a great addition to any buckle collection.

The Great American Buckle Company was originally located in Chicago, Illinois and produced some of the most stunning buckles for decades until it closed its Chicago headquarters several years back. It manufactured all sorts of cowboy, hunter, outdoorsmen, motorcycle club and union worker belt buckles, all of which are now very collectible.
