Pewter Crab Bowl
Fitz and Floyd

Departing from its usual ceramic dinnerware, this 1970s crab bowl designed by Fitz and Floyd is made of pewter. The large and weighty pewter bowl depicts the image of Cancer the Crab from Greek astrology. The shiny silver metal is well crafted with fine details to the face and ten legs of a crab. This crab bowl could be used in the kitchen or dining room to serve crackers, nuts and such small food items, especially during a seafood dinner.
This pewter bowl is in great vintage condition, though there is slight discoloration from oxidation on the interior of the bowl. The Fitz and Floyd hallmark appears on the bottom of the bowl.
This pewter crab bowl would make for a playful addition to any table setting. For those who collect Fitz and Floyd ceramic dinnerware pieces, this bowl makes for a unique addition.
