Bird in a Nest

Dogbotz Boneyard values the intaglio etchings of G. Clark Sealy because of his studied juxtaposition of solid color fields, some of which may be detailed with dots and lines, and his stylistic use of white lines between the regions of color, as if his etching were a type of stained-glass image. And so, from our Dogbotz Boneyard Gallery of Art for your own personal collection, we present G. Clark Sealy’s Bird in a Nest.

Born in 1955, Hawaiian etcher and aquatint engraver, G. Clark Sealy studied art in Honolulu and began exhibiting his work in Hawaii, California, Oregon and elsewhere during the 1980s. A native Maui artist, Sealy's original intaglio prints deal mostly with Hawaiian landscapes and seascapes.
