Dogbotz Boneyard has collected the acrylic paintings of Henry Muse because his works are infused with a strong design element and a playful graphic quality. His style ranges from the vivid color fields and geometric shapes reminiscent of Expressionism, to soft pastels and thin lines found in the illustrations that often populate children’s books, to the iconic designs of the 1960s and 70s. All of which strive to achieve a perspective of moods and ideas over a depiction of reality. And so, from our Dogbotz Boneyard Gallery of Art for your own personal collection, we present Henry Muse’s Golden Pear.
Henry Muse began painting around five and a half years ago while he was studying for a degree in Graphic Design. For one of his design classes, he was required by his professor to create a painting. Henry enjoyed it so much that, after he had graduated and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, he opted to pursue painting in lieu of graphic design.
